Conduit fill demo

Choose a conduit size and material, a cable type and a cable count. The cross-section is drawn to one scale, so the cables you see are the cables being counted, and the fill ring shows how close the result sits to the NEC Chapter 9 limit for that many cables. Three identical cables also get a jam-ratio check.

Client-side port:the logic and table in this page are a TypeScript port of the harness function, checked against values exported from the Python tests. Not a live API call. Source: uvm-agent-harness, tools/conduit_fill (tables.py, utils/calculations.py, service.py). The TypeScript port is compared with 10,102 cases exported from the real Python by scripts/export_demo_golden.py. Maturity, quoted from the domain page: starting inventory, not a completed review. The calculation services were inherited as live code that predates the review process and have had no expert sign-off; ingestion of the NEC standards text has not started.Real functions this maps to:calculate_conduit_fill, recommend_conduit_size.Not modeled: anything beyond conduit fill. No pulling tension, sidewall pressure, bend radius, ampacity or derating, vault sizing, or duct-bank thermal behavior. Cable positions in the drawing are an illustrative equal-circle packing; the harness only computes areas, so wall thickness, cable stiffness and pulling friction are not represented.See also:Conduit fill, hands-off walkthrough
