DER voltage ride-through zones

Choose the DER performance category and one of the four voltage zones, then drag the ride-through time the unit achieved at that zone's threshold voltage. The chart plots voltage in per-unit against log time, with the harness's floor point for every zone. The harness's own caveats are shown with every result.

Client-side port:the logic and table in this page are a TypeScript port of the harness function, checked against values exported from the Python tests. Not a live API call. Domain maturity, quoted from the research page: “Draft, unvalidated. No DER interconnection or protection engineer has reviewed it; every function has only an AI-assisted pre-review. IEEE 1547-2018 is paywalled, so subclause numbers are mostly single-source. The FERC screens are confirmed against authoritative copies.” Category III's minimum ride-through times were corrected after sources disagreed (the harness now uses the MISO / Unitil values; FirstEnergy's posted values are the outlier) and have not been read from a primary copy. IEEE 1547-2018 is paywalled, so the 6.4.2.1 subclause number is single-source and not confirmed against primary text.Real function this maps to:check_der_voltage_ride_through_zone.Not modeled: only the voltage ride-through floor, one zone at a time: the harness's other 14 interconnection checks are not shown here. Also not modeled: the full ride-through curve (the harness holds four threshold/time pairs per category, so no curve is drawn between points), the DER's actual voltage-vs-time response, momentary cessation, and which category an authority assigns to a given installation. Edition adoption by a jurisdiction is not part of this demo.See also:Ride-through, auto sweep · Cease-to-energize, interactive
